The VCFC elected new leadership and members to the board of directors at its 47th Annual Meeting. Members also learned from Kevin Schmidt, coordinator of the Office of Farmland Preservation at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, about the innovative new programs on purchasing development rights.
